September 12, 2016: The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) are investigating an accident which took place at Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO). Shortly after the plane took off it crashed into the RNO parking lot, killing all 3 people aboard.

Cessna, King Air, and Piper planes have crashed in Nevada on many occasions. The culprit is typically negligent maintenance although driver error or manufacturer defects can be to blame as well.
